Even Windows XP worked great. It also converts Fuji S3's RAW files.Purple Tulips Photography says: ".The software is very slow and crashes a lot."I don't have this issue with Windows 7 as compared to Vista.Lightroom gives better dynamic range, better mid tones. My Finepix Studio Driver For AndTherefore I am not surprise it is as good.Yes. Also Raw Therapee is a viable option, but that post-processing programme needs a separate study )Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is based on ACR. And yes, Lightroom is Mac compatible.KopiOkaya edited this topic 56 months ago.I get good results with ACR/CC2017. After converting the images to either TIFF or JPEG, you still have to export them to Photoshop or similar program to perform further editing.I am using Hyper Utility on Win 10 with no troubleWhat software do people use on Mac these days together the best of the dynamic range?I noticed on a work pc, that under paint shop pro X2, one of my images was reported as having a 48bit depth - so that's obviously reading the extended dynamic range.I've not found a mac package that does that though.Only Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is able to fully utilise the dynamic range of S5 Pro. Both software using default settings. And here is something you can't do with HyperUtility.By the way, I have HyperUtility installed into Windows 7 without a hitch.I installed hyperutility again in compatibility mode,it starts but almost dont react and i see no tools to edit picturesAll the settings are shown in the picture.HyperUtility is a RAF converter cum tethering program, not a photo editing software. Yes, it does show the correct EXIF, the program however is ´a bit´ complicated. I've not had chance to play with it much yet, but the EXIF information display shows the correct film mode and dynamic range, so I'm feeling confident. Thanks for the update. Here you can find some information about the (free) software: 56 months agoGiven my reluctance to pay for anything :-) I've just downloaded V5 of rawtherapee. Adobe Lightroom is, by far, the best program for RAF processing right now. What's 7raw - couldn't find anything about that. And my version of SCR (with elements 10) only offers 8 or 16 bit options :-(Sorry for the confusion, it should have been s7raw. Raw Therapee (free) gives good results, but rather complicated.ACR/CC has the additional advantage to switch to 16 and 32 bits to get more out of the RAF files.Fujifilm HyperUtility HS-V3 is as complicated or worse. Such as Photo Ninja, DxO Pro 10, Affinity and also raw readers like Faststone for instance.Hyper Utility HS-V3 was nowhere to be found, I couldn't find a copy, even on a purchase base.Free Standard Fuji software like Finepix viewer/studio can obviously read the files Also 7raw is an option (as a free programm) Silkypix can read the files, but is a 200 dollar purchase programme. Cool games to download on mac for girlsIt seems to make a good job of S5 raws. Same goes for us.Happy to move on in terms of software, Lightroom and Capture One Pro will be the most likely destination, but in terms of the cameras, mine is still very much a baby (maintenance counter reads 6400), I have batteries, and lenses, no need to throw away a good cameraJust had a little play with an app called darktable. Fuji already did with their S Pro series. Then it is time to move on. That's why I don't use it anymore.KopiOkaya edited this topic 54 months ago.Yes, unfortunately Fuji was a bit too specific about compatibility, even compatibility mode wouldnt trick it into installing.Well. Yes, HS-V3 runs very slow.
